The subways are as grotty looking as they say.Although I think these trains were leaving from Grand Central to head out to the suburbs. Inside NYC Public Library One of my favourite pictures from my NYC trip. I took this at the entrance to the Public Library. The marble is apparently from South Africa. The height still amazes me. People still in a hurry... Grand Central's food court. I think this is in Brooklyn. I had to swing past there. To prove I was there...as a tourist.

Three things... first of all, in one of the pics from the empire state building you can totally see my building!  Secondly, the pic of the "subway" is actually a pic of the metro-north trains going to upstate new york.  and lastly, the actual pic of you in the subway at Bergen street is hilarious, and, yes, you are in Brooklyn, in Borough Park to be exact.  I pass by there almost every week and have been meaning to tell you about Bergen Street.
