At the site of the twin towers... In 2003 (August?) this was what the foundation of what was being built where the twin towers stood. The family room. A place where those who lost people in Sept. 11 had a place to mourn lost family. Lady Liberty Ali, Sam and myself hopped on the Staten Island Ferry. We found a fellow Buck's rock camper. Being on the Staten Island Ferry gives you time to contemplate a snapple. Ellis Island and its Immigration Museum. I still have to go there. :) Ahh yes. Feel the wind in your hair with NYC at your back. Time Square anyone? Financial district from the water Aahh, American patriotism. A flag as seen from the Natural History Museum. Three things... first of all, in one of the pics from the empire state building you can totally see my building!  Secondly, the pic of the "subway" is actually a pic of the metro-north trains going to upstate new york.  and lastly, the actual pic of you in the subway at Bergen street is hilarious, and, yes, you are in Brooklyn, in Borough Park to be exact.  I pass by there almost every week and have been meaning to tell you about Bergen Street.
