San Francisco

30 Sept03
The first place to see in SF: Bergen Street! My first sighting of Alcatraz on Hyde Park Hill A slightly better picture of Alcatraz taken from the Municple Pier These are the infamous Cable Cars. They are worth a ride! Cable Car tracks, or did someone decide to build a railway in the street? ;) San Francisco has its own mini china town. Good thing I didn't blink or I would've missed it. This was a nice lamp. I hugged it. Pier 39 - nice spot to grab a bite to eat. I think. These buggers make a lot of noise. And yes. They are at Pier 39. There's an interesting story why they are there. Forest Gump was a great influence on the folks in SF Believe it or not... I never went inside. Coit Tower is a nice spot to catch the views of the city at the top of Telegraph Hill. YAY! Another photo of Alcatraz (no I'm not obsessed) and Pier 39. I found tourists at the top of Coit Tower! There is also the Transamerica Building (is that right?) that is pretty from Coit Tower.

Hey, I know all those places!!!

You should come soon and revisit, as we are stuck here for the next few years at least.
